All new domains/accounts don't get the proper redirects.
    mail.site.com, ftp.site.com, cpanel.site.com, whm.site.com all resolve to site.com

we had a hardware failure and my host did a full re-install of freeBSD 8.2, WHM/cPanel 11.30.4

This all worked fine on the previous build same OS and WHM versions

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that mod_proxy is enabled on your server as well as you have also enabled the following options from the WHM > Tweak Settings

    Proxy subdomains
    Proxy subdomain creation

If above options are enabled and still you are facing the problem then use /scripts/proxydomains to reconfigure the DNS entries manually.

If mod proxy is not installed on your server then you can refer to the following URL and configure the mod_proxy on your server and once mod proxy installed on your server enabled the Proxy subdomains /Proxy subdomain creation option from the WHM as well as use /scripts/proxydomains to reconfigure the DNS entries manually.

I know how to enable mod_proxy, I just don't know which mod_proxy options I need:
    mod_proxy_connect, mod_proxy_http, mod_proxy_ftp, mod_proxy_ajp, mod_proxy_cache, mod_proxy_balancer

    Thanks for your help BTW

    Did not help.
    Code:
    # /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -l | grep proxy
      mod_proxy.c
      mod_proxy_connect.c
      mod_proxy_ftp.c
      mod_proxy_http.c
      mod_proxy_scgi.c
      mod_proxy_ajp.c
      mod_proxy_balancer.c
    Code:
    # ./proxydomains add --domain=mysite.com
Adding proxy subdomains for domain mysite.com.
    Records Installed
    Restarted Apache

    Same results, mail.site.com, ftp.site.com, cpanel.site.com, whm.site.com still all resolve to site.com

Some time DNS propagation required time to resolve with the domain worldwide therefore try to access the cpanel.site.com after a couple of hours
