No response from subprocess ( (cpanel)) with exit signal: 1

I seem to have lost access to cPanel. I got the above error message (500 Internal Server Error) and below it,

cpsrvd/11.34.1.12 Server at ********.hostgator.com

Could someone please explain to me what this implies?

Ok... I think I may have posted my entry in the wrong forum... my apologies . I'm not on Linux; I'm on a Windows server.

I'm certainly happy to hear you're not dying. You gave no real details, and then confused it a bit by stating you're on a Windows server. Do you mean to say you're on an Enkompass Powered server?
