Hi from today at the morning the emails that are sent to my accounts under a certain domain are bouncing with this message

The error that the other server returned was:
    550 No Such User Here

But on the cpanel email list the emails remains intact.

What is the cause for that problem?

    Thanks

    Ticket ID: 7582755

    Hello :)

The possible causes of the mail delivery error even with a valid email account can be Permission issues or routing issues

You may correct the email account permissions by using the following command

    # /scripts/mailperm <username>

Check and confirm that the MX record is properly configured to the server where the account is configured

    #dig -t MX <domain.com>

Also check /etc/localdomains and /etc/remotedomains and confirm that it is configured properly.

The domain is listed on localdomains but not on remotedomains

Use MXToolbox.com and see if you are blacklisted.
I've seen the 550 error because of blacklisting.

other problem might be your email domain or account is blacklisted at the receiver end server , you need to contact them with some other ID and ask them to whitelist your email account on there server to sort the problem.

Thanks for reply my friends, the problem was not by a blacklist, the problem was related to bad owned domain name.

By any reason my domain1.com was added as addon domain to the account of domain2.com.

The problem was solved by the cpanel team on support center.
When i get the steps that they used to solve the problems i will paste here to help others with the same problem.

It's rare for me that domain1.com is added to domain2.com as addon domain, i dont made that change, how this could happen?

    Hello,

I'm happy to see the issue is now resolved. As far as how that happened, is it possible the account owner added the domain name?

    Thank you.

You could search /usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log to see cPanel activity associated with the account. One command example is:

    Code:
    grep username /usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log
    Thank you.

By any strange reason one of the domains of my server had as addon domains many domains of my server, this causes that the email accounts on the respective domains are marked as inexisten when an email is sent to any of them. But if i go to the cpanel of the domains that had problems with "No such here" the email accounts remains intact.

What could be the cause for the userx owns that other domains as addon domains?

    Hello,

It's difficult to know how exactly those domain names were added to another account. Would you mind opening a new support ticket so we can take a closer look to see if we can determine how that happened? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome.

    Thank you.

As per ticket response, there is no explication for this problem and how was it caused, the solution that i get is:

1.- Create a backup of the affected accounts(domains)
2.- Convert those addon domains to accounts

    Hello,

To update, the issue was addressed by manually correcting the userdata entries for the domain names in /var/cpanel/userdata/ for the affected accounts.

    Thank you.
