Does cpanel execute anything inside of /tmp?

On the changelog it says "noexec tmp fixups" under build #65. Does that mean cpanel no longer executes files inside the /tmp directory?

Nick....?

Thanks
Mike

How long have you been running your setup that way?

I hope not, because mine's mounted noexec right now. I haven't experienced any problems yet.

How did you mount it noexec?

Mounting noexec..

Like you would mount anything noexec, I specified the noexec option in fstab. Here's the exact line for fstab...

tmpfs /tmp tmpfs noexec 0 0

Have fun,
