I have a dedicated server running cPanel, with root access... I've learned a lot in the past few years, but I'm at a newbie level on some things.

I recently registered a new domain, and I'm in the process of forwarding various old mailboxes to the new domain, and using it everywhere...

As far as I'm aware, I was not previously having problems with other domains on the server; for example, I use Nutshellmail.com to get updates from Facebook. It was working perfectly fine on my previous domain (which is still there, but I changed the email for Nutshellmail)...

Now I'm not getting any updates.

I also had a friend tell me he got a rejection notice - "Warning: could not send message for past 4 hours" - so I don't know why his server can't see mine... He says this is now on BOTH domains - old and new...

The Nutshellmail folks say they're not getting any bounces...

    [Edited to remove obfuscated emails]

If you have any directions to point me in, I'd be very grateful!

It appears you haven't set the nameservers correctly.

Speaking of being a "newbie level on certain things" ....

What you just did will make you a prime target for spam bots because
very nearly EVERY email harvesting spider out there is fully capable of reading the correct email address from what you wrote without any problems or difficulty whatsoever and most of those have been able to do so for a great many years now.

Back on the topic of yoru email issues, it would appear that your entire domain has got some problems ....

Infopro mentioned that your nameservers are set wrong and further looking into that, it looks like you also don't have the zones in the nameservers setup properly either as there is no IP information

Hmm... Thank you both very much - I'll see what I can see on that front.
