    Hello guys

I am running the latest stable version of WHM/cPanel running Exim

I am able to send email's using an email client such as Thunderbird & Outlook.

All system emails are also sending fine from the server. The problem is when someone tries to email any clients on the server no mail is delivered and there is no error message bouncing back to the sender. I have also checked the email in boxes using webmail (Horde) but there is no mail showing.

    Any help is appreciated

    I guess you mean that:
    • outgoing mails from webmail, external mail clients and cpanel are going through
    • incoming mail is not coming on your server
Is this for a specific domain or for all the accounts on your server?

If it is for a specific domain and other domains are working fine, you may have recently changed the DNS Records or may have incorrectly specified DNS (MX) records, which are sending your mail to another server.

If it is for a specific domain, did you recently register or transfer this domain?

i have VPS with WHM root access, i am able to receive mail in webmail from my won hosted domain in my WHM but not able to recive mail from out site of domain like gmail yahoo hotmail.

i checked mx record on MX Lookup Tool - Check your DNS MX Records online - MxToolbox mx is fine.

i have this error on intodns.com

Reverse MX A records (PTR) ERROR: No reverse DNS (PTR) entries. The problem MX records are:
xxx.x.xxx.xxx.in-addr.arpa -> no reverse (PTR) detected
You should contact your ISP and ask him to add a PTR record for your ips

    Please suggest.

Have you contacted your hosting provider who provided the IP to ask them to add a PTR record for your IP to point to the server's hostname?
