    Hi everyone,

    Since 2 days ago, I've not been receiving my night emails from Log, Tripwire & UPCP.

    Can someone please help?

    Thanks,

    Go on, have a guess
    Have you recently installed MailScanner? If so, I had to do the following for the root CRON jobs, and it may work for you:

    As root:
    crontab -e

    At the top of the file add:
    MAILTO="your@emailaddr.com"

    Next, edit /etc/crontab and add the same line (obviously put in your email address).

    This fixed the following error in my /var/log/exim_mainlog after installing MailScanner (which works wonderfully, btw):

    1A6F3t-0006EX-75 <= root@x.com U=3Droot P=3Dlocal S=3D592 T=3D"Cron <root@x> run-parts /etc/cron.hourly" from <root@x.com> for root@x.com
    1A6F3t-0006EX-75 == root@x.com R=3Ddefer_router defer (-1): All deliveries are deferred
    1A6F3t-0006EX-75 ** root@x.com: retry timeout exceeded
    1A6F3t-0006Ea-7k <= <> R=3D1A6F3t-0006EX-75 U=3Dmail P=3Dlocal S=3D1333 T="Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender" from <> for root@x.com
    1A6F3t-0006Ea-7k == root@x.com R=3Ddefer_router defer (-1): All deliveries are deferred
    1A6F3t-0006Ea-7k ** root@x.com: retry timeout exceeded
    1A6F3t-0006Ea-7k root@x.com: error ignored
    1A6F3t-0006Ea-7k Completed
    1A6F3t-0006EX-75 Completed
