    Hi

For the last few days things like the new account created emails, the overnight processing emails, bandwidth emails as well as automated emails from mine and clients websites have not been coming through. All other email is working fine but nothing from the server or nobody.

I have looked at all the settings in the master WHM and can't see anything obvious that would cause this.

If anybody has any suggestions I would be very greatful. I very rarely go into the shell so if you do give advice about doing anything in there if you can put it in simple terms that would be great.

In WHM in the advanced section of the Exim configuration try adding "queue_only_override = false" in the first text box (without the quotes)

A few days ago I had a problem with a client with a script that was being used to send spam, the file was deleted but I was just thinking, someone advised me to go to Show Current CPU Usage, and then kill one of the processes but I can't remember what it was. Is there a way to find out or reset the processes that have been killed?

I have a feeling now that this may have something to do with it

If anybody has any ideas I would be greatful.

Reboot would likely bring back the process. Not aware of a way to view killed processes. Can also check /etc/rc.d run levels and compare to WHM porcess list to see what may not be running.

I have just changed my email address in WHM for root, mailman and nobody emails and have now started to receive bounceback emails from all the emails sent via sites for newsletters and sign up usernames etc... on every one it says unroutable mail domain "then domain"

I was not receiving these for some reason via my other email address

reading some other Cpanel threads I found the answer.

    Go to Tweak Settings:

Turn off: Track the origin of messages sent though the mail server by adding the X-Sender headers (exim 4.34+ required)

    Restart Exim

    No more problems!

it doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but .. I wasn't getting email from root@DOMAIN.com
I added "localhost.localdomain" to the hosts ip entry in /etc/hosts and it magically works:

    </etc/hosts>
    # Do not remove the following line, or various programs
    # that require network functionality will fail.
    Ip.add.re.ss HOST.DOMAIN.com HOST localhost.localdomain
