Today we upgraded our server to use "nsd" instead of "bind. The results are more than good, they are great. The new "nsd" uses a significant less amount of memory than "bind" and that is a Good Thing(TM)!

Installation and conversion from "bind" was excellent, cPanel developers have done a great job and there were no issues, and no loss of service.

    Only one question remains:

How can we force "nsd" to only listen to the name server IP addresses, instead of listening on ALL addresses?

We noticed that /etc/nsd/nsd.conf has an "ip-address" directive for every single ip address of the server, while it would be better if it only had the two name server ip's.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.
