I found this customized Squirrelmail provider.
    http://www.nutsmail.com

They say they can install their custom version of Squirrel over the Cpanel one,
but, what would happen if Cpanel someday decide to update his integrated version of Squirrel.

    Hi

I have just purchased nutsmail. However I didn't ask them to install it for me, I did that myself, it was fairly easy. (http://kmail.kigoobe.com - username : demo@kigoobe.com pass : demo124)

But the problem with nutsmail is that, and I am really feeling the pain now, that it doesn't allow users to change their password being in nutsmail. It can only be done thro' cPanel. I am trying to find a solution to it for several days but nothing has come up as yet.

Think about it before buying nutsmail, if that's important to u. Also, I am also trying to install a different language to it, and that's yet another pain.

Thanks for publishing your demo URL, it is interesting to see in detail the product I would like to purchase.:)

Have you enabled all the plugins Nutsmail say they include?
I see you don´t have enabled the "Email To Field" Autocomplete feature.

Why not just add a link in the Cpanel webmail selection for nutsmail?

If you need help with that lookup the roundcube install instructions on this forum.

It would get overwritten, undoubtedly. But you could chttr -i the files to prevent it. I am not sure if there is a way to stop CPanel from updating the webmail apps, like there is for MySQL.

I installed the nutsmail on my server, surprisingly while everything works fine when I try to send the mail I get the following error

    The connection was interrupted

The connection to domain.com:80 was interrupted while the page was loading.

    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I tried every possible configuration but it doesn't resolves the problem, the page gives the above error the moment I try to compose a message and send it. WHile the mail is being sent rather than returning to the sent message page I get the above error.

If any of you have got it working, please update and assist to help me troubleshoot this issue.

I wrote a cpanel password changer addon for squirrelmail several years ago. You might try and search the squirrelmail addons to see if it can be used. (It most likely needs to be updated...)

This will allow your squirrelmail users to change their email account passwords from within squirrelmail.

Also, if anyone is interested, there is a "outlook" skin available on sourgeforge here:

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/squirreloutlook/

    Where?

So where exactly (from server root) is squirrelmail so I can upload a skin I have? Also is it possible in cpanel squirrelmail, to have only one skin selected as default? If so where would I change that?

You sent an email to support@nutsmail.com ?

    Per their website,
-- that could be why you didn't receive a response?
