    Hello.

I need to install the php oci8 extension. I went to my dedicated server's (linux) cPanel to see what extensions were available for php and I couldn't find the oci8 extension. I tried to create my own rpm package but when I verified with rpm -qa | grep php , I noticed that the php used by the server was not installed with the CentOS package manager. Apparently it's cPanel that controls this and I do not know how I can add the oci extension to my php.

Please help me with this matter. Thank you.

OCI is typically installed into PHP 5 nowadays using PDO, with PDO_OCI being installed as a PHP PECL via WHM -> Software -> Module Installers. If you encounter any issues during this process, feel welcome to submit a support ticket.
