odbc_connect() undefined

    I've installed Unix ODBC and FreeTDS, rebooted the server, and still getting this error:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function odbc_connect() in....

    I've tried adding the extension to php.ini also, but that didn't help. Is there some reason why this doesn't work? I'm on PHP v. 5.4.28

    I was using "yum install ..."
    Are there issues with that method?

    You will need to follow the instructions in the referenced thread, as Apache/PHP are handled through EasyApache on cPanel, not YUM.
