Hi,
I just noticed an odd dir in my /home dir. As the subject indicates, it is /home/ftpup-install. It is owned by root:root and is rwx------. It is dated 25/04/05. Inside of it is...
drwx------ 2 root root 4096 Apr 25 21:07 ./
drwx--x--x 82 root root 4096 Apr 28 09:51 ../
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Apr 25 20:47 pure-ftpd--.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Apr 25 21:05 pure-ftpd.src.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 74 Apr 25 21:07 rpmbuildlog
The only contents of the buildlog are...
error: pure-ftpd.src.rpm cannot be installed
Installing pure-ftpd.src.rpm
Any ideas where this may have come from? I sure didn't create it and I am the only one with root. I do keep up to date with release builds and that has meant a lot of updates lately. Could it perhaps have come from one of them?
Thanks,
v
