In the process of switching all of our :blackhole: to :fail:, after switching one of our clients blackhole over to fail none of their e-mail within their domain would fail to send, but they could send e-mail to other people fine. We think this screwed up because this client has a bunch of forwards set up to offsite email addresses, they don't actually have mail accounts through cpanel.

    Example: Bob@thisdomain.com couldn't send e-mail to Joe@thisdomain.com, but he could send e-mail to Rick@anotherdomain.com

Reverting the :fail: back to :blackhole: fixed the problem, but does anyone know exactly why it didn't work?
