    NO email at all is working as exim is acting odd.

    The customer told me email was not working so I look, and exim restarts just fine from ssh but does not work, but whats odd is spamd shuts down, but does not attempt to start:
    Code:
    -bash-3.2# service exim restart
    Shutting down clamd: [ OK ]
    Shutting down exim: [ OK ]
    Shutting down spamd: [ OK ]
    Starting clamd:                                            [  OK  ]
    Starting exim:                                             [  OK  ]
    -bash-3.2#
    In whm an exim restart returns this:
    Code:
    exim: [ != 220]
    exim has failed, please contact the sysadmin.

    And when using Horde returns this:
    Code:
    There was an error sending your message: Failed to connect to localhost:25 [SMTP: Invalid response code received from server (code: -1, response: )]
    If you notice there are no real errors being returned, there blank?!?

    I also find this odd:
    Code:
    -bash-3.2# telnet localhost 25
    Trying 127.0.0.1...
    Connected to localhost.
    Escape character is '^]'.
    Connection closed by foreign host.

    -bash-3.2# netstat -tlnp | grep :25
    tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:25                  0.0.0.0:*                   LISTEN      1917/xinetd
    tcp        0      0 :::25                       :::*                        LISTEN      17660/exim
    Why is there no IP showing for exim? the IP has even been manually set in exim.conf?

    I have reinstalled, and every thing else I could think of, and nothing seems to be helping, so I am assuming its something just dreadfully simple that I am missing.
