Hi,

I setup a new domain name on a server and it appeared to have created the account ok but when I went back and clicked on "List Accounts" the account is not listed in there. However if I click on "View Bandwidth Usage", the domain name appears in there.

Moreover, all other websites on the server are now inaccessible.

When I run the upcp --force I see the following in there

[userdomains] domain conflict: /var/cpanel/users/mercuryn contains a domain already owned by mercurye at /scripts/updateuserdomains line 176, <F> line 8.
[userdomains] domain conflict: /var/cpanel/users/mercuryn contains a domain already owned by mercurye at /scripts/updateuserdomains line 176, <F> line 11.
[userdomains] domain conflict: /var/cpanel/users/kamal contains a MAIN domain already owned by mercuryn at /scripts/updateuserdomains line 191, <F> line 3.

Any help would really be appreciated.

This needs to be fixed manually. Although it is not a big deal but if you have no idea then get someone to work this out for you.

Basically the file at /var/cpanel/users/username is the cPanel configuration file and it lists the domain names that belongs to that user as
DNS=maindomain.com
DNS1=domain2.com
...
.....
and so on.

You are getting these messages because the same domain name exists in both /var/cpanel/users/mercuryn and /var/cpanel/users/mercurye file. You have to just edit both files and keep the entry only in that user file who owns that domain and remove the entry from other user file.

Same is that case with other domain conflicts.

Thanks for this, I did find a file with a lot of entries of previous add on domains which I deleted. However I dont know why none of the presently working sites are no longer working. I get a "The page cannot be displayed" error on all the other php based sites on the server.
