Okay to install dnf?

Is it okay to install dnf on a standard WHM installation? Using these instructions?

I'm trying to install a php memory profile which uses dnf as an installation package manager.

I saw this when Googling:

Is this referring to the same dnf I want to install?

If you want to install Postgres 9.6 by dnf then yes.
