    Hi,

I am running cpanel 6.4 and as such xskin is not available to install. Also http://skins.pronic.biz does not resolve.

Is there anywhere I can download a copy of xskin, both for cpanel and whm.

    Thanks :)

    Adrian.

    Joshua,
    you just broken their license.
Those skins are not to be distributed if you read it properly.

How do you call that redistribution? If bert doesnt want it downloaded, i'll remove it.

This is the official cpanel forums, if i was trying to do something illegal, i think id go somewhere else ;)

Ahh well, don't want to open up a can of worms, removed.

Thanks, Joshua. Wouldn't want anyone to get in trouble, though.

I have a new cpanel license, so i think i'm entitled to XSkin. However, I don't wish to install EDGE or BETA versions.

Do I then have to buy an Xskin license, even if cpanel distributes these for free? Since CPanel now owns XSkin, who can possibly complain about distribution issues?

    Regards,

    Apollo

X SKINS up to version 2.0 can be distributed freely. Furthermore, cPanel now owns all rights/ownership on the X SKINS, which means that as long as you have a cPanel license, you're free to use them/distribute them as you deem appropriate.

The thread over at WHT mentions 2 versions of XSkin, where an earlier one had problems with Javascript. I already tried Joshua's files, and they seem to work properly, so this must be the fixed version.

Thanks again, Joshua. As well a big thank you to Bert!

While we're at it, is there someplace where we can get cluedinon how to create our own skins?
