I have one domain.com. I have two servers.
Nameservers:
Hostnames: alpha.domain.com and beta.domain.com
ns1 and ns2.domain.com are registered with the first server IP.
ns3 and ns4.domain.com are registered with the second server IP.

The domain.com is pointing to ns1, ns2 as well as ns3. and ns4.

For some reason, when I go to a customerdomain.com/cpanel in alpha.domain.com I get a Server not found error.

beta.domain.com is a new server. It must be a configuration issue. I hope you can help.

Hello :)

I do not suggest using all four name servers for your primary domain name unless you have DNS clustering enabled. Have you used a website such as IntoDNS for your customer's domain name to see if it resolves to the correct server?

Thank you.

You're saying that domain.com should not point to all ns or to both servers, right? So, as an example, I should remove pointing it to ns3 and ns4. How will server emails/notifications work?

Yes, the primary domain name should not point to a server where it's not hosted at. Thus, if it's hosted on the server where NS1/NS2 are used, you should not use NS3/NS4 as it's name servers. Email notifications should still send out to the email addresses that are configured. Local email accounts are not required.

Thank you.
