Online File Backups for Users

Hi All,

Some users are asking us to provide online file backup systems similar to those offered by Mozy.com. In summary, their software automatically uploads certain files, directories, etc. to an online backup space. Are there any add-ons for cPanel that would allow us to offer something similar?

I had been looking at similar setups, and then decided to outsource it to create less work for myself.

I wasn't crazy with the 'per PC' cost of Mozy and others, and was happy to find datadepositbox.com (note, link has my referral id in it)

I figured it was more efficient to resell a product than try to manage a system myself. Less income, but allows me to focus on basic hosting and security.

The good thing with this online backup service is that the cost is per 'account', and each account can have multiple PCs. Say, like a small office of 5 PCs. And the cost is only $2 per GB.

I'm also looking into alternative options using AWS to offer an backup solution for Mac and Linux users.
