I have been asked to grant access to the site files and database to a third party but would like to prevent access to other areas within Cpanel.

Setting up the FTP access is simple enough, but is it possible for me to allow access direct to phpMyAdmin without allowing access to any other areas within Cpanel? (without using a GUI)

These are the only areas I want to allow the third party access to, all other areas must remain off limits!

    Regards
    Binaek Sarkar

phpMyAdmin is used to manage database.
In your case, I suggest you to ask the third party to use database remotely i.e access database using Mysql client. To allow access to remote database you will nee to add third party ip address to cpanel >> remote database.
