    Hi, this the first post

    in my vhost-error_log have lot of:

    2012/08/08 12:24:32 [crit] xxx#0: *xxxx openat() "/home/user/public_html/file.jpg" failed (13: Permission denied), client: 186.247.186.xxx, server: user.com.br, request: "GET /file.jpg HTTP/1.1", host: "www.user.com.br"

    much the same coming to fill up my /var

    in forum search of nginix i see and test:

    disable_symlinks if_not_owner;
    # disable_symlinks if_not_owner;
    disable_symlinks on;
    disable_symlinks off;

    any results.

    someone could help me find a solution?

    Just comment out or delete all the "disable_symlinks" lines. It worked fine for me.

    I think "disable_symlinks off;" too should work.
