    Hi there,

I have a VPS and have been trying for hours on opening some UDP ports in iptables so that we can get the master server for our game running. Can someone please tell me how I can go about properly doing this? I'm at my wits end here. Also, how do I know if my VPS has a firewall on it? I didn't see anything in the WHM.. or is iptables the default firewall? Thanks for helping me out.

    Thanks,
    Kimi

    Hi,

    IPTables is the default firewall.

CSF & APF are just GUI for it.

If you want to manage your firewall in an easy and fast way, I encourage you to use CSF (ConfigServer Firewall).

With CSF you can manage TCP_IN TCP_OUT UDP_IN UDP_OUT and too much more options.
