    OpenSSL not installed?

I am planning to install HiveMail on my dedicated server but one of the requirements is OpenSSL, which their installation script says is not installed. The requirement calls for OpenSSL to be installed and PHP to be compiled with OpenSSL. How do I do this?

    Hello,

You need to recompile php with the help of easyapache to enable openssl as a module. It will be good if you contact your host to do it for you.

    Hello clv,

To run EasyApache on your dedicated machine, you can either log into WHM and go to EasyApache (Apache Update) or run the following command in root SSH:

    Code:
    /scripts/easyapache --force
Whichever method you choose, OpenSSL is in the Exhaustive Options List in Step 6 of the process under PHP 4 or PHP 5, depending on which PHP you are running.

If you have any questions on recompiling Apache using EasyApache, please let us know.

    Thanks!
