    Hi,

Does cPanel work on OpenSUSE? Also has anyone ever used this or know how it compares to Redhat/CentOS? Reason being is I want a server in Germany and they only provide OpenSUSE/Debian.

    Thanks

I am running cPanel on OpenSuSE 10.2 with no problems.

I have found the only requirement is to change the contents of /etc/SuSE-release to report version 10.0

OpenSuSE is not supported by cPanel, but I have not had any issues anyone with some linux experience could not resolve. The best advise I can give is to keep your distribution installation to the bare minimum. Only install what you need, since cPanel installs all the packages it needs to function.

    Enjoy!
