Hi, i have installed openvpn on
Centos 6.8 Server (Dedicated not vps)
Cpanel/WHM 60
CSF Firewall

I followed this tuto steps unixmen.com/setup-openvpn...nt-centos-6-5/
All the steps go fine, one by one but when i must use ip tables i have changed to this tutorial, because i dont use iptables

So i have followed this another tutorial
grumpyland.com/blog/238/making-csf-work-with-openvpn/

After that an email arrive to my inbox with the next message
Code:
[somesub.somedomain.com] FAILED : cpsrvd (192.168.1.2)
Notification The service “cpsrvd” appears to be down.
Service Check Method The system failed to connect to this service’s TCP/IP port.
Almost 10 emails arrived me until i commented the lines on the file /etc/csf/csfpre.sh after that i recieved an email with the subject
Code:
[somesub.somedomain.com] RECOVERED : cpsrvd (192.168.1.2)
Why?
And why when i try to start open vpn it shows a red FAILED.
Thanks in advance

Hello,

There's a guide here you may want to follow:

georgetasioulis.com/how-to-install-and-configure-pptp-vpn-on-a-cpanel-server/

The instructions look similar to the URL you provided, but the above URL includes some additional tips in the comments section you may want to try. Also, feel free to vote for the following feature request:

cPanel VPN server

Thank you.

You'd need to revert any of the steps you took to complete the installation (E.g. uninstalling the RPMs). There's no decision on that feature request, but by voting you also subscribe to the request so you will see any updates to it should they occur.

Thank you.
