Hello

My cPanel VPS contains only Wordpress websites.
On a try to update the Wordpress version, I'm getting the following error:
-------
The package could not be installed.: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Installation Failed
-------

Research lead me to the understanding that the error caused by openvz quotas problem.
(Some suggested that its a disk space problem, However the VPS size is 50G and 32G still available for use.)

I'm not sure how to fix that problem. Since openvz is an integrated part of the OS,
Frankly I kind of worry that I'll mess with core files and server will go down as a result.

I have tried reinstall cPanel.. Didn't helped.

Hope you can help me.

Thank you,
Amit.

Hello :)

What type of file archive are you attempting to upload during the WordPress upgrade attempt?

Thank you.

Ensure you have second level quotas enabled. We did a lot of research before offering OpenVZ to our clients and before launching we hit a brick wall and it was found by one of our engineers that the second level quotas needed to be enabled:

Hello cPanelMichael
Not sure what you mean "file archive"..
I'm trying to update WP to the latest version from the /wp-admin/update-core.php - "Update Now"
(The latest WP is 3.7.1)

I have checked server files and I don't have the folder /vz-scripts/
in the /etc/sysconfig/

If it helps, I did found:
/proc/vz/vzaquota/000000d3/aquota.group
/proc/vz/vzaquota/000000d3/aquota.user

Also, how do I find what is my: Container_ID
(vzquota show Container_ID)

Thank you,
Amit

For instance, when updating WordPress, are you attempting to upload an upgrade archive (e.g. .zip)? Or, is WordPress attempting to fetch this automatically?

Thank you.
