Opinion: "Track the origin of messages sent though the mail server..."

    I am asking about the WHM "tweak settings option called:

    Track the origin of messages sent though the mail server by adding the X-Sender headers (exim 4.34+ required)


    1) Some people have said this is a good option to turn on, because it shows the exact script/file/path that sent the email from the server. (Very useful to track spammers, etc..)

    2) Other people have said this option will cause the php mail() function to stop working, and other mail problems, etc...


    Can anyone tell me conclusively if this option will work, or will it cause problems?
