Hey there! I bought a server for bulk emailing (no spam) and I would like to send like very many emails per month. So I would like to know how I can optimize exim for maximum performance. This server would only host cPanel with 1 very small website where people can subscribe and unsubscribe etc.

Basically I want to know how I can use all performance of my server, how to send as many emails per minute/hour as possible.

    Thank you!

since you say you are not a spammer the server is going to be blacklisted from yahoo and the rest of email servers since you are going to send out bulk emails
there are companies around that you can apply for newsletters and save your money

Hey, thank you for your reply.

I would have to say that I really can't afford it because my emails are not some kind of offers, they are just newsletter since I'm doing nonprofit email sending with this server.

How many emails is very many emails? We need an actual definable number if possible.

I suggest using something other than cPanel for sending these emails. That is a massive number and would be better served using a machine that is dedicated to only sending emails without anything else on that machine. It might even require multiple machines to process such a massive number. Not to mention, you probably want to cycle IPs since these will most assuredly end up being reported as spam.

    600,000 e-mails per day for a non-profit? Sounds fishy :-/
