I support a website and i'm looking for help to migrate from Oracle 11g to MariaDB which is more of a freeware. Can anyone please advise on what all i should take into consideration before we actually start with the migration?
i've a big DB with around 500+ tables and some have over million transactions.

Also is it advisable to do the migration to MariaDB or we have a better freeware option out there?

    Hello :)

This is unrelated to the cPanel software and thus not a task we can support. You will likely receive more feedback on this type of question from the Oracle or MariaDB development websites. I did find one third-party URL that you may find helpful:

How to migrate Oracle database to MySQL server?

    Thank you.
