Can someone show me where to look to determine the order in which exim checks incoming messages?

To help me out in the short term, when a new incoming SMTP connection occurs, does Exim check to see if the recipient is valid BEFORE running spamd against it?

i.e. if I have users that have set up a catchall account. Will it take some load off spamd if they set up a bunch of forwarders to the catchall, and then set the default route to :fail: ?

    Thanks

    Steve

    Hello,

    You can go to :
Main >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Editor

Then click "Visualize ACLs" and this should give you an idea of how you have it configured. I say this because you can have it configured a few different ways. The other option would be to have us look at it, although we dont support custom ACLs. Please let me know if this answers your questions.

    Thank you,
    Matthew Curry
