Hello,
I am new with all this and i run into problem with CPanel.
Problem is next:
I have reseller account and i have few more accounts that are connected to main reseller (i can jump on one of it by dropdown menu in main account).
Everything was worked just fine till few month ago after update my accounts where i have OpenCart installed started to fill Other files size no matter what i do.
I dont have acces to that files to delete itand that makes me trouble by filling my host.
I tryed next things:
I delete one of websites with OC and wait couple of days to see maybe server will reset space or whatever it didnt worked.
I installed there again fresh OC with a little images and size of public html folder is 24mb but Other files are 4 times bigger.
Then i try not to make backups in same folder outside public html and didnt worked also.

1.So, is it possible that files start to make that trash files becouse updating PHP version that my provider do?
2.My provider has changed size of webhost packages in that period of time so maybe that have some connection with my problem?

To make short question - size of Other files in Cpanel rising without my control....any advice?
Thanks

I'm not sure exactly what your post means, my apologies.
i have OpenCart installed started to fill Other files size no matter what i do.
What other files, and in what location are those files being created that are taking up space?

To be honest, this sounds like something you might want to speak with your Hosting Provider about.

What does this mean exactly?

Two more questions if I may.
1) Is this server running SuPHP or no?
2) Do you have some sort of automated backup extension installed for this cubecart installation?

If #1 is no, and #2 is yes, could that backup script be creating backups owned by "nobody"?

As far as i know my provider says that server backup (their backup) is on other server so shouldnt have any relations with my host space. I have made manually backup thru cpanel and that file was in my account root outside of public html folder.
Instalation that i use is Opencart and i use default extensions that doesnt make backup as far as i know.
For SuPHP i dont know so if you can tell me how to check that i would gratefull :)
i new at this so im not very familiar with cpanel engine.

You will need to consult with your web hosting provider. It's possible the files are generated by your script and not owned by the account username. Thus, they may fall under the "Other" usage category.

Thank you.

Thank you Michael that was the problem. Those files are generated by Opencart platform and those scripts are saved outside my account.
