Ok. So our operating system died, kernel panic. Luckily all the files are there. So our hosting provider put in a new build of the operating system on a new hard drive and installed cpanel on it. They also mounted the old hard drive so that we could migrate the data over. How would/can I migrate everything over? (users, email address', files, mysql, etc.)

    Thanks!

I'd fix this by getting the backup of the drive and then moving the all of the users, files, scripts, etc over and editing all of the config files like what we had to do with our counselor education site at one point, which was a pain.

After you import all of the old to the new, then you can start from scratch in some areas and basically mirror stuff you want

Is there no simple straight forward way? Like a set of commands that will do it no matter what and make sure that it seems like it was only down and there was no loss of any information?
