Outlook Express not able to purge deleted emails

    Hi,

    My client is running IMAP on my server, and they constantly have this problem where they cannot purge any of the deleted emails in their inbox. I did some researching here, and found that it was suggested to be a problem with multiple Outlook accesses to the same IMAP account. However, I have confirmed with my client that they are still not able to purge the emails even when there is only one active user.

    I can normally resolve this problem by restarting the server. I hate to have to restart the whole server just for this, so I am looking for other solutions. I tried restarted just IMAP, or EXIM, but those do not work.

    Any suggestion to why this is happening? Is there a script that I can run automatically to keep this from happening?
