    Hi,
    I think you know this: you klick on a link and then cpanel generates a html-output.... the best place where you can see this is installing a perl module:

    2 seconds

    "Loading software"

    2 seconds

    "Saving software"

    2 seconds

    "Installing..."

    How can I do this, that my serverside script changes the html-output??? Normally you say print "Hello" and at the point of time, the script finishes, the hello is printed out.
    I'd like to create a status-report of my script, just like

    "Writing DB"

    mysql_query($sql, ...)

    "Creating account"

    using accounting.php

    and so on...

    How can I do this???

    Thank you!

    don't use an output buffer and it should come to the browser when it is ready.

    Hi,
    I used flush() to force the output the be printed, but it doens't work correctly.

    // Output

    // Actions

    // Next output

    The script nees 10 seconds, then you see the first output and the second output...

    How can I not use a output buffer??

    Thank you!
