    Hi,

Today one of my clients site get suspended because of bandwidth limit exceeded.

I increased the limit in WHM.

    In cpanel it says

    Bandwidth Usage 1141.17 Megabytes

Client was only given 1000 MB Transfer per month.

    ---------------------------------------
    Domain Megabytes Gigabytes

    trivia.casualchat.org 5.849267 0.005712

    Total 1141.174571 1.114428

    But AW Stat Says

    ===============================

Not sure what the AW stats measures, but the client can go over your 1000MB limit because the bandwidth check, by default only checks bandwidth usage once per day. So its very possible that a user could have used over 141mb (to get over your 1000mb limit). Generally, its not a big deal, but if you want to check bandwidth more often, to prevent users from running away with your bandwidth..... in WHM, goto "Tweek Settings", and under "Number of days between processing log files and bandwidth usage", enter something less than 1 (1 means once per day). I use .25, which means it will check 4 times a day.

No, i don't want to prevent going above limit.

Usually AW Stat shows the nearly same Band width usage as the Cpanel.

But for this site AS STAT says 53 MB and panel 1 GB.

Is it any Cpanel bug or he actually used the band width ?

If he used, how i know which files caused the band width ?

    Regards,

    Yujin

    Check /var/cpanel/bandwidth/domain.com

Maybe the user did a lot of ftp, which you will not see in your stats.

Under Number of days between processing log files and bandwidth usage (default 1, decimal values are ok): change the 1 to .040

This will update the bandwidth every couple of minutes. I am currently using this without any problems.

I had this problem on a couple of accounts too on 1 server, search forums for "bandwidth issue" and you will find more people having this problem.

There was 1 special thing: Many of the accounts that had problems were using PHPNuke.
