    Good afternoon.

I have a server that is in Canada, and has the seguitnes settings:

Processor Name: Intel (R) Xeon (R) CPU E5405@2.00GHz
    Processor speed: 2000.189 MHz
    Processor cache size: 6144 KB

    Memory: 3107028
    - / + Buffers / cache: 1526868
    Swap: 1052248
    Total: 4159276

Two weeks ago was having a normal use of:

    Server Load: 5.0 ~ 8.0 (8 CPUs)
    Memory Used: 30%

With a queue of emails to a maximum of 350 ~ 500 emails depending on the time of peak.

Last week began to appear in areas emails SpamAssassin and strangers stopped to generate the score for each email, leaving any email through.

Was passed to the server and who cares resolved implementing the ClamAV, but today when I came to work I realized that I had a queue of more than 1000 emails with delays of up to 4 days and use a high load of CPU and memory up to until:

    Server Load: 40.0 (8 CPUs)
    Memory Used: 80%

Making the server become very slow.

Please help me to solve this problem, is generating much inconvenience to us.

We have around 350 customers and about 3,500 registered mail.

Would help a little more. First guess would be you are swapping a lot more but it is hard to tell.
