    Hi,

I'm trying to figure out which config file holds the fact that domain aaa.com is owned by user1, and bbb.com is owned by user2.

In short, I want to move ownership of a domain from one user to another, with retaining all files. I can easily move the domain files from one users home to the other, but I need to tell Cpanel as well so the new owner can manipulate the new domain.

I'm not trying to move ownership of the entire account, just 1 domain.

Any tips on how to proceed?

You can below command to change the ownership of entire user to new user:

    chown -R newusername:newusername /home/oldusername

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
