    After I received the following Port Mon alert:

    Summary of new internet Server Sockets
    >tcp 0 0.0.0.0.0.2084 0.0.0.0.* LISTEN 2845/entropychat
    >tcp 0 0.0.0.0.0.6666 0.0.0.0.* LISTEN 2843/startmelange

    I noticed that my up2date configuration changed from skipping only kernel*
    to pkgSkipList=kernel*;httpd*;perl;mysql*;php*;mod_ssl*;

    I am running WHM 9.4.0 cPanel 9.4.1-R64 RedHat Enterprise 3 - WHM X v3.1.0

    What are the packages that need to be marked to be skipped?

    And strangely, after that event I can not see any pid owned by nobody in VHM's

    You need to leave as is as cpanel handles the updatess otherwise u2date would install apache 2.0 which would break cpanel just one example from the skip list above
