    I have a VPS running Fedora Core 2 over at Spry.com
    Running: WHM 10.8.0 and cPanel 10.8.1-5114

    I've setup an account called mofclan which is all setup and using www.mofclan.net

    I'd like to setup my website to load http://www.mofclan.net/portal when a user goes to http://www.mofclan.net/ . Currently I have to use HTML code and i've had reports of this being slow. My code is below maybe there is a better way to code this, not sure but i am looking for a faster way to get them from www.mofclan.net -> www.mofclan.net/portal

    Code:
    <html>

    <head>
    <title>Redirection to MOFCLAN.NET Portal</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    <meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="0;url=http://www.mofclan.net/portal/">
    </head>

    </html>
    Also, I'd like to see this happen without having to move any of the directories on the account!

    You can try .htaccess redirection and see if that is faster.

    RedirectMatch permanent ^/$ http://www.mofclan.net/portal

    Just place the above code in a file called .htaccess and upload it into your www folder.
