park a domain to a folder

    I have a user that want's to park his domain to his account with a folder called /home/user/public_html/something/ where "something" is the folder where he want's to park his second domain too.

    I tryed to add a subdomain like http://something.domain.net and park his domain to this, and then it works, almost, but not with "www" in front of the domain.

    only http://domain.net workes fine when it's parked at the subdomain.

    Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
    I would really appriciate all help i can get.

    I have also tryed addon domain to this subdomain and done a ServerAlias domain.net *.domain.net in httpd.conf and saved it and restarted httpd but it will not work....

    ------

    got it to work..
    the old dns zone was still in httpd.conf and i had to delete this to get it to work :=)

    This would be more easily accomplished using Addon Domains which is specifically what that was intended to do.
