    Hey,

I have 2 domains; and they must be linked together.
    One maindomain: www.maindomain.com for example
    And one linkeddomein: www.linkdomain.com

So i can put linkdomain.com as parked domain for maindomain.com. But i read in the manual that then everything (http and email) is routed to the maindomain.com. But i want the use an email-adres of linkdomain.com. Is this possible via parked domains ?

Or must I include two accounts for every domain; and then put a redirect on the linkdomain.com ?

Thanks for any advice, i'm new in whm-town; gotta learn fast !
    Dave

    response

    Thank you for your response;

I understand what you want to say.
But the minor thing about this is -from out the linkdomain.com- there cannot be send mails. The receiver will view this incoming mail as a mail from maindomain.com.

Because my client could sent mail with his linkdomain.com, he wants -off course- the same situation again.

I think then it's better for me to create a small new package and attach this on linkdomain.com with a redirect on the first page.
Correct me if i'm wrong, if there's still another possibility it will save me a few MB webspace.

    Thanks to all,
    DaveL

you mean you need a setting in such a manner that if anyone send mail from linkdomain.com it should be seen as if send from maindomain.com? ie from address should be always user@maindomain.com ?

Hello David, i will explain it further.

My client has two email adresses: geert@linkdomain.com and loes@maindomain.com
By making it a parked domein, i can use also both domains for emailadres; but as i understood- i can receive email from geert@linkdomain if i set also the adres geert@maindomain.com.

But i understood also that i cannot sends mail from out the name: geert@linkdomain.com.
Then the receiver will receive it as geert@maindomain.com.
And that's a problem to keep the old emailadres.

So i must keep both original emailadresses, so therefore i think i have to make 2 accounts; and a parked domain cannot be used.

    Correct me if i'm wrong.

Sure you can use it. Park it and create an email account normally. Choose the parked from the drop down list.
