Parked/addon domain not completely deleted

a DNS entry for domain.net already exists, please delete it first..

When I copied the unpark command fo another parked domain, from whm and substituted &domain.net& and ran it, I get:

Unparking domain.net

Unable to find out which user owns the parked domain domain.net.

Where are these entries hidden? Where do I delete DNS for domain that does not show up in the listing in cpanel or whm? This domain.net resolves to the new account that is now assined to this IP. but cpanel for customer domain2.com does not show domain.net as being parked there.
