Thank you for the offer Nic and Kenneth. The problem with opening a ticket is that it may take a while before being looked at, whereas in reality one typically wants to unpark a domain now.

I want to make a suggestion: Seeing that List Parked Domains is compiled from httpd.conf (or so it seems), would it not be a nice idea if the unpark script would fall back on the httpd.conf information if WHM is unable to determine the user otherwise?
3 minute wait time as of right now :)

solution

I also has same problem.
In my httpd.conf I found virtual host of obstinate domain has duplicates directives
User xxxxx
Group xxxxx

I have deleted one set of directives from httpd.conf. Unparking working fine for now :)

Same problem

WHM 10.8.0
Cpanel 10.9.0 R118

This domain once was an account, the account was deleted and the domain name parked on another account.

The customer paid up and I tried to unpark the account.

Tried to unpark in both WHM and Cpanel

Used the delete DNS zone, park, unpark fix , worked fine.

Just some info that may help someone find the pattern.

I am trying to move an add-on domain from one account to another and seem to be having no luck:

I have deleted the DNS zone and tried to repark, but i get the error:

Sorry a dns entry for MYDOMAIN.com already exists.

in WHM and when i do the same under the new account in cpanel as a parked domain i get the following error:

Parked Domain Additions

Error from park wrapper: MYDOMAIN.com is owned by another user.

I have removed all aforementioned linkages to the old account but to no avail.

Any ideas would be hugely appreciated.

thanks, Vincent -
