    Hi,

Can anyone help me with this scenario please:

    1. Website hosted on a server not owned by myself
    2. The domain is owned by me and points to my server
    3. I create an account in WHM and edit the A record to point to the other server
    4. I wish to park another domain on the account and to point to the server not owned by me.

Now I have parked the domain but this 2nd domain does not pick up the A record entry and redirect it to the website, any ideas???

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Nield,

WHM will create a separate db record for the parked domain. Edit the DB record of your Park domain..............

Also check if the domain nameservers are correct ............................. :)

Also check in tweak settings and check this box:

Allow Creation of Parked/Addon Domains that resolve to other servers (ie domain transfers) [This can be a major security problem. If you must have it enabled, be sure to not allow users to park common internet domains.]

A more efficient method is to use the redirect at your registrar second domain and redirect it to the site you want to park on top of.
