Parked domain subdomain not working when added

I have a main url abc.org and a parked url pointing to it, xyz.org. These both work fine.

I also have blog.abc.org, again working fine but when i add the blog.xyz.org subdomain pointing at the same document root as blog.abc.org, it's inaccessible from blog.xyz.org. I just get a "cannot connect to the server" error in the browser.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello :)

Have you checked to make sure the subdomain resolves to the account's IP address? Do you notice any errors in the Apache error log when browsing to it?

Thank you.

It doesn't seem to resolve, though the A record is there and httpd.conf looks normal unless I missed something
Check to make sure the primary domain name associated with the subdomain uses the name servers for the cPanel server. Otherwise, you will have to manually add the "A" record at it's DNS hosting provider.

Thank you.

Yep, nameservers are fine.

If it helps, the main domain is insightforcarers.org and the parked domain is insightgroup.org.uk.

The sub domain is blog.insightforcarers.org and this is fine but blog.insightgroup.org.uk doesn't work.

C:\Users\Sim>nslookup blog.insightgroup.org.uk 213.171.206.83
Server: UnKnown
Address: 213.171.206.83

*** UnKnown can't find blog.insightgroup.org.uk: Non-existent domain
Your nameserver does not have record for it.

Try opening insightgroup.org.uk DNS zone
and add new line:

blog IN A 213.171.206.83

That has solved the resolving issue but it's just showing the blue/orange cPanel page. Any ideas?
Try removing it as a Parked domain, re-adding it, and then clearing your browser cache.

Thank you.
