I have two parked domains, both parked on top of a third and I have just noticed that they are no longer showing up in List Parked Domains at all.

They have DNS zones, they work and they show up in the Add Parked Domain page but in List Parked Domains (WHM) and Parked Domains (Cpanel) they are not there. "No Parked Domains are present"

I have tried deleting the zone of one of them, then re-parking it, but still no change.

Any ideas?

thanks,

Alex

Ok, I think I've got this sorted. Listed parked domains are generated from what it sees in httpd.conf.

This relates to my other problem where the hostname had been set the same as one of the domains. When I changed the hostname back it must have also changed the ServerName directive in httpd.conf.

ServerName system.hostname.com
ServerAlias parkeddomain.com parkeddomain2.com

Changing it back to:

ServerName maindomain.com
ServerAlias parkeddomain.com parkeddomain2.com

fixed the problem.

I ran /scripts/rebuildhttpd.conf afterwards just to make sure

Just a further note: You can have as many domains parked via DNS, but cPanel won't actually recognize them as 'parked' until you've associated them via the 'Parked Domains' section in cPanel of the account onto which they are parked.
