Hello, I was in the process of mounting a second backup hard drive for my server, and in the process came across the following error when I ran the 'fdisk -l' command:

"Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary."

Is this something I should be worried about? Is it fixable without having to move or put at risk all my hosting clients on that drive?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Not a problem - ignore it
The concept of "cylinders" is meaningless on modern disks
Merely maintained for compatability

Yes, the previous post is accurate. Modern hard drives do not utilize cylinder boundaries.

Thank you.
