    Hi,
i want to buy a freebsd box.
What is the recomended partitions for freebsd 4.9?
    I think about this:
    /
    SWAP
    /var
    /tmp
    /usr

is a reason to create and /home partition or the /usr is ok?
Also how much space i put in every partition for 80G HDD?
    Thanks a lot.
    Regards,
    Christos

You might be better of creating a /home partition rather than having /usr/home, this way you can mount it nosuid.
