Pass already encrypted password to cpanel?

    Is there any kind of way to pass an already encrypted password to cpanel using the API? That way you can securely store people's account passwords in an auto account creation script's account queue for example.

    No, as of this point, this is not possible.

    The reason is that cpanel uses the system password mechanism which relies on one-way passwords, meaning that there is NO way to get that information back after it has been set w/o a brute force.
